Shed no tears for tossing out bad apples

Say you're standing in a long line waiting to get into a great play. Suddenly, up near the front, a couple of people butt in. Their excuse is, well this is a play we would just love to see. It stars our favourite actor.
Guess you'd be a little pissed, right?
Well, that's why I am shedding no tears with the feds tossing out a number of illegal aliens last week, many of them Portuguese.
I have to insert a disclaimer here to deal with inevitable lefties screaming 'bigot' or 'racist'. Some of my best friends are Portuguese, OK?
The big protest is that a lot of these illegals work in the construction industry that badly needs their services in this building boom we're experiencing.
Well tough.
I'm sure there are plenty of people waiting patiently in line overseas to be our new immigrants who would love to have the jobs the illegals are doing illegally now.
The whole issue of illegals aliens and so-called refugees has been badly bungled by a succession of federal governments. It seems that about 50 per cent of refugee clamaints are approved, a lot, I'll bet, without the proper background checks. Yes, that's right, almost half. Compare that to Sweden, where about 2% are approved.
There are thousands of these refugee claimants who have just vanished, some of whom no doubt are terrorists. If they're so innocent, why not go on with their claim?
Fifty-fifty is a bet I'll take any day.
Note the incident last week involving an alleged terror suspect in Newmarket who was one of these bogus refugees. For the record, he denies it.
One benefit of all these illegal aliens living in our area is that we're probably safe from any terror attacks. Too much of a chance they'd kill Bin Laden sympathizers.
